Co je to IP chránění?
Stupeň krytí (IP) udává odolnost elektrických zařízení proti vniknutí cizího tělesa a vniknutí kapalin, zejména vody a prachu. Vyjadřuje se v tzv. IP kódu, který je tvořen znaky „IP“ následovanými dvěma číslicemi: první číslice udává ochranu před nebezpečným dotykem a před vniknutím cizích předmětů, druhá číslice označuje stupeň krytí před vniknutím vody. Je to vlastně parametr, který nám ukazuje typ venkovního kryti proti vlhkosti. Rozmezí IP je od IP44 do IP68.
Nejdříve bychom měli zjistit typ krytí venkovního svítidla. Pohybuje se v rozmezí IP44 až IP68. Zahradní světla většinou svítí po celou noc. Proto při výběru svítidel volíme svítidla s dlouhou životností a zároveň nízkou spotřebou energie. Tato kritéria přesně splňují venkovní LED světla. LED světla jsou tou nejlepší variantou, mezi zákazníky jsou velmi oblíbena.

IP states the degree of protection and the resistance of electrical equipment against the ingress of foreign bodies and the ingress of liquids, especially water and dust. It is expressed in the so-called (IP) code which consists of the characters "IP" followed by two digits: the first digit indicates the protection against accidental contact and against ingress of foreign bodies. The second digit indicates the degree of protection against water ingress. It is actually a parameter that shows us the type of outdoor housing moisture. The IP range is from IP44 to IP68.
